A firmware update was just released for the Fenrir optical drive emulator, that ads a very handy feature: exFAT support. Purchase Fenrir: http://bit.ly/fenrirode
That means you won’t need any special Windows software to format the MicroSD card, simply right click on the drive, hit “format” and select exFAT as the file system:
UPDATE: A firmware was just released after this one that fixed a bug setting the correct console region, that was introduced with the previous update. Skip the 8/22 and get the 8/24 version (or newer) from this link: https://www.fenrir-ode.fr/firmware.html#download
