The Component Video mod for the Commodore 64 (C64) is now available for purchase at Video Game Perfection (VGP). This is a video mod that allows user to replace the existing RF modulator that is onboard the C64 and drops in a FPGA replacement solution that bypasses and interprets the video signals coming digitally from the C64.
This is based off of c0pperdragon’s design who has made this component mod and the s-video mod solution for the C64 as well. Both the component and s-video options are now available for purchase from VGP. With these options available, the best selling computer of all time can enjoy some clean quality video output on real hardware that is befitting such as classic.
