Tito from Macho Nacho Productions recently posted a video showing the different TV tuner add-ons for classic handheld gaming consoles. While most of us are probably familiar with the Game Gear TV Tuner, there were also tuners available for many other handhelds as well! Check out the video to see them in action and I have some more info about wireless RF below the affiliate links:
Game Gear TV Tuner: https://ebay.us/bJPzEV

PC Engine TV Tuner: https://ebay.us/ue2HbP
PC Engine LT: https://ebay.us/6zxJlc
GBA TV Tuner: https://ebay.us/2K1oys
PSP TV Tuner: https://ebay.us/fIt4Ex
NDS TV Tuner: https://ebay.us/wqDKQb
Wireless RF Transmitter: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_omBeiFD
One thing to note: Tito’s method of hooking up a basic antenna to the RF modulator and turning the gain up was perfect for the examples in this video, but absolutely not how you’d distribute wireless RF around your house. I’ll actually be doing a video on this soon, but getting the one from Aliexpress linked above and setting it to VHF/N/192.25/4.5 will allow you to output to channel 10 on your TV (or handheld with TV tuner ;p). The antenna position, distance from the transmitter and anything blocking the signal will affect the quality. You can invest in more powerful antenna’s and amps for your house, but starting with the cheaper option is best.
…and even if you decide to do this with your handheld or standard CRT, you’ll still have to deal with getting the proper aspect ratio and lag. So stay tuned for my upcoming video that should clarify all of this!
