Wrestling With Gaming just released a documentary about the early 90’s Nickelodeon children’s game show Nick Arcade. One of the most memorable things about the show was that kids were “put inside a video game” for the final round – An extremely impressive accomplishment for the technology of the time.
The documentary goes into detail about how this technology worked, as well as the team that made it all happen, all with WWG’s typical flow that makes the 20+ minute video fly by. I highly recommend it to anyone who remembers the show, or just enjoys a fun bit of television history, mixed in with technology and video games.
