The Sega Genesis / Mega Drive has one of the most active indie development scenes out of any retro system and today, GGS Studio Creation and Broke Studio are launching a Kickstarter campaign for their newest title, The Cursed Legacy. You can get a digital copy for about $12, a complete in box version for about $56 and a collectors edition for about $145. More details below the link:

The Cursed Legacy is a run’ gun action platformer with some exploratory Metroidvania-like gameplay and according the developers, the game is already finished and they’re seeking funding to launch a physical edition. The Cursed Legacy is the direct sequel of The Cursed Knight, they changed the style of gameplay to present a new challenge to gamers.
As it stands now, the game has already achieved its funding goal and even multiple stretch goals, one of which is an exclusive mini-game for Kickstarter backers, so it might be a good idea to back the game now while you still can.
