Kyle from Kytor Industries has just released the design files for his powered SCART splitter. This device is designed for people looking to safely split their SCART cable between BNC outputs, as well as another SCART output; Presumably for people connecting to a PVM with only inputs, as well as another device like an upscaler. It’s powered by a THS7374, so the signals will all be fully buffered. If you were looking for SCART to SCART + BNC, this seems like the perfect choice. Here’s links to the design, as well as his etsy store where some are available to purchase:

This splitter also includes a switch for a low-pass filter, as that’s part of the THS7374’s design. I’m sure Kyle included it simply because it’s already there, so why not – That’s what I’d have done. I’m not sure it’s necessary in most setups though, as analog displays like CRT’s won’t need a LPF and basically all scalers have one built in that’s usually better than the 7374’s. That said, I’m glad he included the ability to toggle it, just for all fringe use cases.
As a note, the design doesn’t seem to include a sync stripper, so you won’t be able to use this to connect non-csync SCART cables to something like an Extron Crosspoint. There’s tons of other solutions for that, including just the SCART Cleaner, but I wanted to mention it just in case.
Lastly, I can only assume the reason they’re on etsy and not the main Kytor page, is this isn’t a product he plans on stocking. If there’s a lot of interest, let him know – Maybe he’ll decide to make more?
