Digital Eclipse has just released an “video game compilation / interactive documentary” about legendary developer Jeff Minter. It contains 42 games spanning Jeff’s entire career, as well as a remastered version of Gridrunner. Also, Sam Machkovech just did an interview with him that I really enjoyed. Links to all versions, as well as a completely game list are on the main page and there’s a trailer below:

Of course, as you can imagine, my first question when reading this was: “Do the Tempest versions support a spinner controller?”. Apparently, yes…as long as you’re using the PC version! Apparently the wireless “Atari Classic” controller‘s stick/spinner should work as well…although I’d personally prefer a real “infinite spinner”.
…all kidding aside, this looks like an awesome compilation, as well as a very cool way to archive Jeff Minter’s legacy!
