Famicom Disk System PCB Drive Schematics and Layout

Developer Maker Tom has just released reverse-engineered schematics of the controller PCB from the Nintendo Famicom Disk System.  While this is a cool piece of video game hardware preservation, it’s more important than that: The files (released under the MIT license) can be used to make you own replacement, or just help trace out and repair existing FDS PCB’s.  Check out the Github for more details:

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if something like this already existed, but I thought it was important enough to share either way.  While stuff like this might not evolve into some fancy project (who knows, it could though!), reverse engineering projects like this are often under-appreciated and I wanted to show some love.  To all the awesome dev’s out there:  Keep ’em coming…a lot more people appreciate it than you’d think!
