According to Nintendo, Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo Switch will be released on December 7th as both a standard Switch game and an “Ultimate” limited edition that includes the game, a GameCube controller and the GameCube controller adapter. In my opinion, it’s great that they’re embracing the controller most people preferred for Smash, rather than try and force everyone to adapt to the new Joycon’s.
As far as I can tell, no one is offering a pre-order at this time.
