While the video below goes into details of how the CE differs from the Pro, here’s the basics: At the moment, the 4K Pro offers more advanced motion adaptive deinterlacing for 480i content than the CE. It also offers smoothing on progressive scan content, as well as rolling BFI and Inverse Telecine. As more features are added to the Pro, Mike will include anything that will run on the CE’s FPGA as well – There’s ZERO software locking here and the only limitations are hardware.
