Voultar recently posted a great video that goes through some basic troubleshooting tips (and a fix) for PC Engine’s, then goes into plastic restoration using Retrobright. Overall a great video, but I have a few comments:
- His method of cleaning with Isopropyl will work fine, but I prefer my GooGone/Dish Detergent Method. Overall, I just find it much easier: http://www.retrorgb.com/cleanconsoles.html
- Also, make sure to be really, really careful with a Magic Eraser!!! Zach uses it the right way, but personally, I almost never use one and wouldn’t feel comfortable using one on the top of any console as he does in the video…
