A collaborative work between Dan Kunz (aka Citrus3000PSI) and Chriz2600, has led to device which will be able to measure display lag on monitors. This device aims to be a simple build that is easy to use and will be able to measure lag at different resolutions, including 480p, 720p, and 1080p. Dan posted this on his twitter and even shows a video of the device working. Hopefully there will be demand for him to do a small run???
