GameCube SD2SP2 v2.0

Greg from LaserBear is now selling the latest version of the SD2SP2 – A device that allows you to connect a MicroSD card to the rear port of a GameCube.  The previous version worked well, however this update from Extrems fixes some streaming issues and decreases the cpu usage when using a SD2SP2 device.  It requires the latest version of Swiss in order to work properly.  More info and a video demo below the links:

My opinion on this new hardware version is if you’re current SD2SP2 setup is working perfectly, there’s no need to upgrade.  That said, if you’re running into any slowdown issues, or just want to try it out, the price of $7.50 is low enough that you may just want to pick one up.  And of course, if you don’t own one yet, might as well get the latest version.

Also, it’s always a good idea to keep your Swiss version up to date, as the team is always adding incredible updates to it…and all versions are COMPLETELY FREE.  Of course, if you’re as big of a fan as I am, please consider supporting both Extrems and EmuKidid for all their hard work!
