Tito from Macho Nacho Productions recently posted an update video showing all the progress and changes since his FlippyDrive Gamecube Optical Drive Emulator launch video. There’s a ton to talk about: Network game loading, controller support, a MicroSD extension, better Swiss integration…this video answers all the questions people had about the project! I really think the FlippyDrive has the potential to be the solution for Gamecube owners. It’s a solderless design that allows you to retain the original drive functionality, plus has features that aren’t really available via any other single solution. We’ll have to wait to see how it works after people start installing them to truly tell, but all signs so far are excellent!
