It looks like hackers are finding new Nintendo Switch consoles on the market that have the Nvidia Tegra hardware exploit patched. This means certain Switch jailbreaks will no longer work on brand new Switch consoles, but still work on older hardware.
As always, if you plan on jailbreaking, keep your firmware on the oldest possible revision.
Bad News: Reports of new Switches in the wild not being vuln to f-g… probably updated ipatches.
Good news: they're coming with 4.1.0 for now, which is vuln to deja vu.Friendly reminder: if you want a hacked switch, don't update. The lower the better. This is still very true.
