Why Museums still use CRTs

I had a chance to sit down with Kirston Otis, the Audio and Video Design department head for The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.  He is in charge of many projects at the Museum.  One of which is to preserve the museum’s large collection of CRTs and other retro video devices.  We discuss the methods his staff uses to acquire, maintain and construct art exhibits of CRTs.  There has always been a strong connection between Art and Technology.  Have you ever wondered how a museum portrays twentieth century video art in our modern time?  Kirston breaks it all down from his uniquely qualified perspective.
