Ryan from Archades Games recently reviewed the new “D6” controller from Retro Fighters – A $50 USB + wireless controller that’s compatible with the Sega Dreamcast (via included adapter), as well as the Switch, PC, MiSTer and most other platforms that use an included USB adapter. Overall, he seemed to like it, with the only thing that could benefit from an improvement being the button mapping in certain modes; Something that may even be fixable via a firmware update before the product’s official launch in late April. Check out the video for more info and we’ll update you as soon as they’re available to purchase:

Update: I didn’t realize all gameplay footage captured for the review was recorded with the D6 after it’s flight. That’s quite the durability test! LOL, watch the video…you’ll see 🙂
One thing I’m really excited to check about this controller is the lag numbers: Retro Fighters tested via the MiSTer controller lag tester and saw 1.95ms in USB wired mode and 5.03ms in wireless modes – Both excellent results. I guess I’ll follow up with that around late April / May as well:
