If you’re planning on installing the kit, or are running into any trouble, I’d strongly recommend reading the entire post. A basic summary is that most people’s installs seem to be going well, but they’ve identified a few motherboard revisions with potential issues. Some are related to capacitors going bad on the motherboard, which is why I generally recommend doing a cap replacement (at the very least on the internal power board) whenever you’re doing mods like this.

They’re currently updating the installation instructions to reflect their findings and plan on offering a QSB to make repairing problematic motherboards easier. For more info on the kit, check out the video below:
