J&T Studio have just added a clear shell option to their choices of Sega Saturn Saroo shells. The color choices are this new clear version, transparent smoked and Sakura Pink. These are widely regarded as the best Saroo’s available and the shells themselves are made by Retro Game Restore, who’s known for very high quality injection-molded plastic parts. You can buy just the shell (which should fit almost all Saroo’s) for $20, or if you haven’t gotten a Saroo yet, you can get a complete package with your choice of shell for $85:

As always, I need to politely remind people that you get what you pay for – Sure, you can try to find a cheaper Saroo on Aliexpress, but the hardware is often lacking. Many are sold without a beveled edge, which can damage your Saturn’s cartridge slot. Some are made from used parts. And none have a shell that’s close to the quality of this one.
