EDIT: Hold off on updating for now, unless your 4K TV ins’t compatible at all: https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=63951
EDIT# 2: Updating is fine, as long as you don’t need 5x scanlines: https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?p=1350765&sid=14af530b72ffd8fa5b1a4bace8b83d90#p1350765
In a surprising manner, Micomsoft just released a new firmware upgrade for its thought-to-be-dead, infamous Framemeister XRGB-Mini.
Through their Twitter account, Micomsoft listed some of the new firmware features such as:
– Improved compatibility with 4k TVs
– Improved scanline functions
– Display adjustment for NEC’s PC – 8801
– Addition of a “dot clock” adjustment function for RGB consoles
This is a very welcome and much needed update from Micomsoft, especially that most XRGB-mini users haven’t upgraded their units since May 2016 (when 2.03 was initially released).
