8Bitdo is now selling a retro-inspired wireless RF & Bluetooth mouse. There’s an “N-Edition” that’s meant to match their previous clicky retro keyboards, that will arrive to customers within a month. There’s also an officially-licensed, transparent green “Xbox-edition” that matches their green Xbox-inspired keyboard that’s in stock right now. The price is about $50 and there’s more information after the links:

While 8Bitdo’s previous mouse seemed more like a fun gimmick than something you’d actually use, this “R8” version seems to be aiming for a much higher quality. It includes a PAW 3395 optical sensor, for higher accuracy and Kailh Sword GM X Micro Switches for the buttons. You can connect it to your devices via bluetooth, or by plugging in the USB charging dock, to connect via 2.4Ghz RF. It’s also fully-programmable, with left/right-hand mode switching, DPI adjustment with 6 levels, and polling rate adjustment via their custom software.
Interestingly, there’s identical versions labeled “AKNES” being sold, but I’m not clear how they’re related. I think AKNES is simply a licensed reseller, but the 8Bitdo versions appear to be cheaper at the moment, so I’d personally go with those until further information is found.
