Modern Vintage Gamer (MVG) just recently posted an update video on the replacement XBOX LIVE service called Insignia. The original XBOX LIVE shut down in 2010 and fans of that online service have lamenting its shutdown as many of those games had fantastic multiplayer experiences that never carried over to the XBOX 360 Era or beyond. That is until recently when the Insignia team formed with the goal to launch a replacement service that could allow original XBOX users the ability to enjoy the online experience once again.
In MVG’s video he goes over the recent Alpha test and his thoughts so far. Without spoiling too much of his video, he noted that the service has promise and good potential, and watching what was shown in the video. The potential for Insignia is and be a service that users could enjoy hopefully in the near future.
