Zaxour has opened pre-orders for a very high quality, #nocutmod power supply replacement, for Pioneer LaserActive CLD-A100 players. This is a USB-PD (20V/5A, 100W)-based solution, so you’ll want to make sure you use a quality adapter, like the one I have linked below. While this isn’t cheap, this is absolutely a “get what you pay for” solution – Zaxour’s power solutions are top-tier and made with quality in mind, not cost-cutting. While I always recommend getting quality power supplies for your consoles, that point is even stronger when it comes to rare and expensive consoles like the LaserActive.
Also, installation on these looks about as simple as it gets: Unbolt the console, unplug the cables and remove the old PSU. Then place the 3D printed backet in place, bolt this replacement PSU in and plug everything back in to the matching cable ports. If your LA has a dead, or dying PSU, this is a must-buy!
