Stone Age Gamer just opened pre-orders on bluetooth controller adapters for the Game Cube in blue, orange and black. These are powered by Darthcloud’s low-latency blueretro platform and supports multiple controller types. The price is $30 plus shipping and it should arrive to customers this fall.

While the BlueRetro platform itself is low-latency, please remember that the controller you choose will also affect performance. PS4/5 controllers have less than 6ms of lag which should be low enough even for fighting games. While I’m sure Smash purists will always prefer a wired controller (understandable), everyone else should be fine with these. I personally think the purple PS5 controller linked above will be a great fit, but that’s up to you 🙂
